Megamix’s 2023 Staff Appreciation Night

After a hiatus of 3 years due to the Covid pandemic, Megamix finally held it’s annual staff appreciation event again on 10.12.2023. The event was celebrated with joyful spirit by all members of the Company, forging a memorable & wonderful night for the staff & their families.

CIDB Certification Announcement

Megamix has successfully obtained CIDB certification on 2.10.2020. This certification demonstrated our commitment to provide our customers with products and services which meet and even exceed their expectations, as well as our continuous effort in improving and complying to high quality standard to elevate our performance levels.

Megamix Company’s Dinner 2020

Megamix hosted it’s staff appreciation night this year on 15.2.2020 right after the celebration of Lunar New Year with a Chinese New Year theme that was filled with fun and energy.

The event was again held at Chin Woo Stadium, Kuala Lumpur with a full participation from all employees and their families.

TRAC-Megamix Student Loan Fund

Megamix is proud to be associated with Kolej Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman by contributing back to the society via. the establishment of the TARC-Megamix Student Loan Fund in January 2019, aims to provide needy students with equal opportunity in education and subsequently in achieving their goals in life.

Megamix believes Education as the Key to Success in Life. Education plays a significant role in designing one’s future as a successful person in life and as a useful citizen in the society.

The Fund is administered solely by the TARUC Student Loan Fund Committee and is opened to all registered students of TARUC. Applications should be submitted to the respective Department of Student Affairs and are awarded primarily based the needs and characters of the applicants.

It’s that time of the year again and Megamix hosted it’s staff appreciation night this time at the Chin Woo Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on 5th. January, 2019.

ISO 9001:2015 Certification Announcement

Megamix is proud to have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognized standard that ensures services meet the needs of clients through an effective quality management system.

The certification audit process was completed in September, 2018 . ISO Certificate from Kiwa Cermet Italia is awarded to Megamix on 15.11.2018.

3 Single Separate Continuous Pour of Above 6,000m³ of Ready Mixed Concrete

Megamix Sdn. Bhd. was awarded the order to supply ready mixed concrete to the Sentral Suite (Sub-structure) Project under the contract of Aneka Jaringan Sdn. Bhd. Raft foundation for this project is to be done in 3 separate continuous pour of about 6,000m³ of concrete per casting. These operations involved meticulous logistic and resources planning with strict compliance to quality, especially temperature control requirement. Supply of concrete were dispatched from 3 of Megamix’s batching plants located in Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Jalan Semarak and Bukit Jalil. Each of these operations involved the use of 50 units of truck mixers, timely collaborated supply of raw materials from supportive suppliers and committed manpower working in shifts over a span of 40 hours.

The first pour was completed from 16/11/17 to 18/11/17 with a final quantity of 6,068m³ of concrete.

The second pour was completed from 29/3/18 to 31/3/18 with a final quantity of 6,300m³ of concrete. This marked a record in the history of the Company as the biggest single continuous Megamix has done.

The final casting was done 1 month later from 26/4/18 to 28/4/18 with a final quantity of 6,298m³.

Family Day 2018

Megamix 2018 family day was held at Taman Botani, Shah Alam on the 14th. of January, 2018. This annual event was celebrated joyously by all staff ranging from the Management to the general workers, thus forging good team spirit within the Company.

Study Visit to LafargeHolcim Cement Plant, Kanthan

Megamix was invited by LafargeHolcim to a study visit of their cement plant at Kanthan, Perak on the 16th. August, 2017, of which Megamix has sent a team of 11 personnel comprising of both production and administrative staff for this trip. It was a very productive visit as comprehensive and interactive information was presented to us by classroom presentation using slide shows as well as an onsite plant visit, accompanied by lots of Q&A time.

Family Day 2017

Megamix had our annual family day at District 21, IOI Mall Putrajaya on the 8th. of January, 2017. This is the 24th. times the Company organised this event in appreciation of the staff’s hard work and effort throughout the year.
