With these managers known to be the best in their respective fields in the ready-mixed concrete industry, Megamix Sdn. Bhd. is able to establish itself almost immediately.
Teo Chee Hoon, aged 64, is the team leader and Director designate.
Prior to starting Megamix Sdn. Bhd. In 1991, he has 7 years of experience in ready-mixed concrete manufacturing. He is overall in charge of the entire management and operation of the Company. His duties include formulation of company’s policies, marketing, financial decisions, developing, liaising and maintaining good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
Although academically trained in accounting, Teo Chee Hoon has acquired a very impressive technical knowledge of concrete technology, equipment, machineries, concrete manufacturing operation and general constructions technology which is widely known to all those people who have met him in the course of his work within the construction industry.
Teo Ken Yau, aged 38, Sales & Senior Operation Manager.
He graduated from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia with a bachelor degree in Commence, majoring in Finance and Professional Accounting. He initially joined Megamix as an accountant but has since been promoted to the position of Sales & Senior Operations Manager in 2017, as he has shown great potential and interest in the sales and production aspect of the Company. He has also gained commendable knowledge of the products.
His duties and responsibilities include the daily liaising with the raw materials suppliers, consultants, contractors, site agents and field personnel, as well as managing the batching plant’s resources and manpower to ensure that all customers will receive quality concrete as and when they want it.
Lee Chiew Yoon, aged 61, Operation Manager.
Prior to joining Megamix Sdn. Bhd. in 1991, he has worked for 8 years with a building contractor and then with a building consultant firm.
Once a major project is secured by Megamix and allocated to him, the entire preliminary execution of the project will be thoroughly carried out by him. His regular duties include mobilization of concrete batching plant, initial deployment of equipment and manpower, dealing with raw materials suppliers, contractors, site agents and field personnel, all of which are to ensure that the new project would be implemented smoothly and customer’s requirement are satisfactorily fulfilled.
Ismadi Bin Ahmat, aged 49, Plant Manager.
He joined Megamix in the capacity of Plant Operator in 1995. Throughout his years of employment with Megamix, he has shown tremendous interest as well as demonstrated high level of commitment towards his duties and responsibilities.
He was promoted to the position of Plant Supervisor in the year 2007, and as Plant Manager in 2018.
Chen Kin Huang, aged 29, Plant Manager.
He joined Megamix in the capacity of Plant Operator in 2014. He was promoted to the position of Production Executive in 2018 and is now the Resident Plant Manager of our major commercial batching plant in Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur.
Throughout his years of employment with Megamix, he has shown great effort in his work performance as well as demonstrated high level of commitment towards his duties and responsibilities. These include overseeing overall operation of the batching plant, coordinating and liaising with customers in respect of their projects requirement, monitoring all resources including raw materials, human, as well as equipment necessary for the daily operation of the batching plant.
Jackson Lee Jie Sheng, aged 29, Quality Control/Production Manager.
Graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from INTI International University, he had 3 years of working experience as Senior Site Engineer in a well established construction company before joining Megamix in 2019.
His duties and responsibilities include determining concrete design to meet project specification, conducting trial mixers, overall supervision of the quality control personnel and procedure to monitor the quality of fresh concrete, maintenance of Q. C. record, testing the quality of raw materials to ensure compliance to relevant standard and setting up of concrete testing laboratories when necessary. He also deals with consultant engineers and contractors on control of concrete quality.
Michelle Ong Chee Fooi, Finance Manager.
A member of MIA and ACMA, she is in charge of overall office administration, financial and credit control, project costing and maintenance of the company’s accounts. Prior to joining the company, she has 6 years of auditing and tax consulting experience with a Public Accountant’s firm.
